These kinetic sculptures were created in RISD's Metal I course. The first half of the course was dedicated to working with tinplate, while the second half was dedicated to working with aluminum. With both pieces, several iterations were generated before the final product in order to figure out the proper order of operations and how to best take advantage of the available equipment (foot shear, corner notcher, finger brake).
